Marie Russo is General Legal Counsel and Company Secretary of JCI Australia and a NSW-admitted lawyer. Her experience spans LegalTech, not-for-profit organisations, private practice, in-house legal and academia.
Her leadership in the legal profession has included multiple executive roles across professional and student organisations, notably NSW Young Lawyers, the Australian Law Students’ Association and UOW Law Students’ Society.
Her legal practice has evolved over time and includes matters such as administrative law disputes, courtroom advocacy and commercial drafting and negotiation for large-scale supplier relationships.
Across these different roles and environments, Marie has seen the same lessons emerge time and time again. She is bringing them to JCI Brisbane.
